BETTER BUYING FOR KEENER PRICES
Prices for P. de Jager & Sons Limited lilies in its new Spring 2010 Catalogue have been reduced following new supply arrangements. It means that de Jager's customers will be assured the same top quality, top sized bulbs at lower prices, saving them an average of 17.5% and up to 45% in some instances - and that's despite the Pound's fall against the Euro over the past year.
Says de Jager owner, George Clowes, "We always endeavour to get the best bulbs at the best prices for our customers and when an opportunity arose for our lily collection to be bought at keener prices we jumped at the opportunity and are pleased to pass those savings on without compromising quality."
The new catalogue contains over 365 summer flowering bulbs, including 73 varieties which are either new or re-introductions. de Jager prides itself on sourcing a wide range of interesting and unusual bulbs for its customers.
2010 sees the launch of the new de Jager Tulip Festivals at 6 highly prestigious historic properties across England and Ireland: Alnwick Garden - Saturday 10th April through to Thursday 15th April; Chatsworth - Saturday 1st May to Thursday 6th May; Leeds Castle - Tuesday 20th April to Tuesday 27th April; Powerscourt, Ireland - Wednesday 14th April to Sunday 18th April; Lost Gardens of Heligan - Monday 26th April to Monday 3rd May and Waddesdon Manor on Thursday 1st April to Friday 30th April.
de Jager is also continuing to work hard through the new catalogue to raise substantial funds for Breast Cancer Campaign from the sale of a specially branded ‘‘Pink Bulb Range''. When de Jager customers order from the ‘‘Pink Bulb Range'' identified by the breast cancer pink ribbon in the catalogue and on its website www.dejager.co.uk, 10% of the sale of those bulbs will go to the charity. Additionally a specially designed ‘‘Pink Bulb Box'' containing pink flowering bulbs retailing at £30 (inc. VAT) will contribute £2.60 from every box sold to Breast Cancer Campaign.
