Achimenes are excellent for hanging baskets, as well asindoors. Plant in soil-less compost ¾ inch (2cm) deep 6 inches (15cm) apart, in a brightly lit area but not direct sun. Feedwith high potash fertiliser every 10 days.
Once flowering time is over let the plants dry out, remove deadgrowth, over-winter in dry compost and restart the following spring.
