Allium Schubertii Arctic Snow
M4994
Striking white Allium ‘Schubertii Arctic Snow’ bursts into bloom during May and June with huge architectural flowerheads resembling fireworks.
The star-like, pearly white florets are held on long pedicles of differing lengths, creating a stunning, explosive effect.
This new and unusual Allium makes a wonderful, long-lasting and showy cut flower. It can also be dried and used as a textural, decorative seedhead for seasonal displays and natural Christmas decoration.
Plant the bulbs in well-drained, fertile soil, in full sun. The bulbs are not fully hardy, so in colder regions, mulch the planting area in autumn to provide frost protection or bring pots undercover for the winter months.
