Yellow & White Mix
Combining the golden warmth of sunshine and the silvery glow of moonlight, our ‘Yellow and White Gladioli Mix’ shines radiantly, day or night. Flowering from July to September, gladioli are invaluable for adding structure to the garden, punctuating borders with their spires of blooms. These tall towers are cut-flower classics, lasting exceptionally well in the vase and bringing height to floral arrangements. Cut just as one or two blooms unfurl at the base – then watch as the remaining flowers open in sequence all the way to the top.
Mauve & Pink/White Mix
Our ‘Mauve and Pink-White Gladioli Mix’ is a romantic, delicate pairing of blooms, with soft petals seemingly made of silk. This demure duo features one variety of pale lilac, and one of apple-blossom pink with a pure white throat. Reaching a height of up to 120cm, these tall beauties stand gracefully amongst beds and borders, adding a whimsical, cottage garden charm. Flowering from July to September, the distinctive spikes will elevate your summer planting schemes. Gladioli make unbeatable cut flowers, bringing elegance and poise to arrangements. Snip just as the lower buds open and the remainder will gradually expand in the vase.
A fantastic array of frilled blooms, our ‘Ruffled Gladioli Mixture’ will bring spectacular colour and texture to your home and garden. No longer the preserve of Dame Edna, ‘gladdies’ make a glamorous addition to borders and bouquets. This balanced, harmonious mix combines crimson, coral, chartreuse and lilac flowers, borne on tall, slender stems. The intricately pleated petals in this collection add infinitely to their allure. Blooming from July to September, this multicoloured selection provides plentiful stems to fill vases around the house. The buds will open in sequence, lasting well over a week in water.
Large Flowered Mix
Towering stems of gladioli make the most glorious garden and cut flowers for late summer. A gifted bunch, or large vase full of these colourful, ruffled spires cannot fail to raise a smile.
This collection contains a well-balanced mix of large, top-class corms in a rainbow of bold colours. Plant out in spring, at weekly intervals for a long succession of blooms.
Gladioli thrive in well-drained soil, rich in organic matter, in an area which receives full sun. Once foliage has faded in autumn, lift the corms and store in a place free from frost, ready to re-plant the following spring.
Small Flowered Mix
A beautiful bold palette of petite gladioli, ideal for growing as cut flowers, in colourful garden borders and in containers.
The open, frilly blooms flower from the base of the flower spikes upwards. Cut stems just as the lower buds open to ensure a long vase-life.
Plant your corms at intervals a week or two apart in spring for a succession of flowers from July to September. Gladioli thrive in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
Wonderful arranged and grown with dahlias which flower at a similar time, for a contrast in shape and colour.
