Asiatic Lilium Pink County
L3060
Description
Hot pink, trumpet-shaped flowers bloom bountifully on Asiatic Lily ‘Pink County’ during June and July. Each tall, elegant stem will produce several eye-catching, cerise flowers – perfect for cutting and adding to vibrant summer arrangements and bouquets.
An excellent lily for bright, bold containers which will be admired both from afar and up close. The large, healthy blooms feature delicately freckled petals and velvet-tipped stamens.
Asiatic Lilium 'Pink County' blends beautifully with soft blue shades, both in the container and vase. The plant reaches a height of 100 cm.
All lilies love the sun, especially in the morning, but need well-drained soil. Mulch around the base to protect bulbs and retain moisture for healthy, vibrant blooms.
Care Guide
To cultivate lilies, choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil, digging a hole 15 cm deep. Plant the bulbs 15-23 cm apart, ensuring they sit 15 cm below the soil surface. Water the surrounding soil well, maintaining soil moisture until growth emerges. Young shoots may be susceptible to slug damage, so use wildlife-friendly methods such as a top layer of sand to protect emerging growth. Most Lilies can also be grown in pots – ensure containers are deep and have large drainage holes in the base. As the majestic stems ascend, they will reach heights of 45-150 cm, depending on variety. Support taller cultivars with stakes as they grow. Use dilute, balanced liquid plant feed every two weeks during the summer. Spray as soon as you notice the bright red lily beetle or their larvae.
