Description

A stunning, tonal mix of Amarines, designed to enliven autumn gardens and boost potted displays with an injection of pretty colour.

Tall, slender stems produce sprays of refined lily-like flowers in a palette of pinks, from soft blush to bright magenta.  Fabulous for cutting, the fine, star-shaped flowers bring a whimsical look to seasonal arrangements.

Thanks to clever cross-breeding, Amarines have been developed by pairing much-loved Nerines and dramatic Amaryllis and have acquired the best attributes from both parents – floral abundance, height and great hardiness.

Care Guide

Plant frost hardy Amarine bulbs shallowly in a sunny but sheltered, well-drained location or large container. Ensure the neck of the large bulb sits just above the soil surface, planting 10cm deep and 15cm apart. Soil should remain consistently moist. Slender stems will reach heights of 75cm, each bearing up to 10 exquisite, lily-like flowers. Avoid disturbing the roots once planted, allowing your Amarines to establish themselves. Bulbs can be lifted and divided every few years when clumps become overcrowded.
