Pure white, velvety petals lend Gloxinia 'Mont Blanc' an ethereal charm. These pristine flowers provide a serene presence, perfect for minimalist indoor displays.

Their luminous quality enhances any setting, Gloxinia 'Mont Blanc' adds refined beauty and creating a calming atmosphere suited to elegant, understated designs. Native to Southern Brazil, Gloxinia enjoy warm temperatures – around 60°F (16°C) is ideal. A highly attractive plant to brighten up the house or conservatory, flowering for a stretch of several months.

Care Guide

Gloxinias are house plants which thrive in a conservatory or on a warm windowsill.

Plant the tubers with the hollow side facing up in pots of moisture retentive compost.  Do not fully bury the tuber – leave the top exposed above soil level.

Place pots on a bed of pebbles or stones in a dish for humidity and water regularly from below to avoid rotting or damaging stems and leaves.

Feed every two weeks with high-phosphorus liquid plant food once buds appear in early summer.

The velvety, bell-shaped blooms in rich, vibrant hues will bring botanical charm to your indoor spaces.

    Named after the Dutch modern painter Piet Mondriaan, Decorative Dahlia ‘Mondriaan’ brings the essence of the artist’s studio into your garden. Famous for his bold, abstract works, Mondriaan also painted over 150 naturalistic depictions of flowers. He was fascinated by their structure – this eponymous decorative dahlia makes it easy to see why, with many layers of petals arranged in a mesmerising pattern.

    The stunning blooms are daubed with brush strokes of pink, yellow and lilac, produced continually from July until the first frost. With a height of 80 cm, decorative dahlia 'Mondriaan' is also perfect for growing in pots and containers.
