Karma Dahlia Gold
D4376
Description
Karma Dahlia 'Gold' radiates a rich, glowing golden yellow, each petal is perfectly formed with the smooth symmetry the Karma series is known for. Designed for exceptional vase performance, holding its shape and colour long after cutting. In the garden, the plant flowers generously from midsummer to frost.
Excellent for also creating an impact in a mixed border with its height of 100 cm, karma dahlia 'Gold' captures sunlight, infusing gardens with radiant charm.
de Jager's top size, top quality dahlia tubers are supplied polythene bags, in which they may be safely kept until planting time, stored in a cool place.
Care Guide
To grow Dahlias, select a sunny spot with well-drained soil, and dig a 30cm deep hole. Plant the tuber 10cm below the soil surface, spacing multiple tubers 45cm apart, or 90cm for taller varieties. Water consistently, maintaining moist but not saturated soil and protect new shoots from slug damage with eco-friendly methods. Feed plants during the blooming period with liquid plant food. Provide support for stems which will reach 60-90cm tall depending on variety. Enjoy spectacular blooms from late summer until first frosts. Cut or deadhead the flowers regularly for a continually flourishing display. Once blooming has finished, cut back foliage before lifting, drying and storing the tubers in peat-free substitute, in a frost-free place until the following spring.

Nova Lux
G4515
With a name meaning ‘New Light’, Large Flowered Gladioli ‘Nova Lux’ will bring warmth and illumination to your garden spaces in summer. Tall spires of fresh, lemon blooms are ideal for planting to gently sway towards the back of a deep border.
A traditional plant for cottage gardens, gladioli are also well suited to contemporary planting schemes – we love this new variety with silvery-greens and soft lavender shades.
Excellent for cutting and adding drama and architecture to large floral arrangements. Cut large flowered gladiolus 'Nova Lux' when the lower blooms begin to unfurl for the longest vase-life.
de Jager top quality, top size Gladioli are best grown in fertile, well-drained soil, in a sunny spot. Plant the corms a week or two apart throughout spring for a long succession of pretty flowers between July and September.
