Globes of rich sky-blue flowers are borne from June to August on Agapanthus ‘Africanus Blue’, from a bed of strap-like foliage.

Native to South Africa, these members of the lily family are true gems for the summer garden - ideal for large pots and stunning in a mixed border as a gently swaying, bold swathe of colour. Agapanthus ‘Africanus Blue’ flowers are excellent for cutting, with long, strong stems which make them brilliant for arranging as accent flowers.

Although hardy in warmer, southerly regions and coastal areas, we recommend protecting your Agapanthus plants over winter by mulching the crowns, or by bringing containers undercover during the coldest months.

Grow chic, tall stems of bobbing white globes with Agapanthus ‘Africanus White’. Umbels of stunning, pure white flowers bloom between June and August, bringing an elegant look to planting schemes, and suiting both contemporary and traditional gardens.

Rounded umbels of pretty, pure white flowers with yellow anthers grace Agapanthus ‘Duivenbrugge White’ from June to August. Sometimes referred to as Agapanthus ‘Icicles’, this hardy perennial brings a sophisticated touch to planting schemes - its architectural looks are particularly striking in a simple green and white design.

Agapanthus ‘Duivenbrugge White’ tall and strong stems make it an excellent agapanthus for cutting. A single stem displayed in a tall, narrow vase is a simple, yet arresting sight.

Large, spherical heads of cobalt-blue make Agapanthus ‘Sunfield’ a spectacular South African lily for the garden, and for cutting. Flowering for several weeks during July and August, this floriferous late-summer perennial is a true garden gem. 

Excellent for adding structure, height and colour to garden borders, the blooms of Agapanthus ‘Sunfield’ are also exceptionally pretty up close, with dark-blue buds and striped, trumpet-like flowers. One of the largest agapanthus.
