Scilla Bifolia Rosea
M5822
Description
Scilla Bifolia Rosea offers a dreamy display of pale lilac to lavender blue blooms, contrasting beautifully with spinach-green leaves. Delicate flowers appear early in the spring, adding a soft, ethereal touch to gardens.
Perfect for naturalising, they spread easily, forming charming clusters which brighten shady spots and woodland edges. Their subtle colour and graceful form make them a lovely addition to rockeries and borders, evoking a sense of tranquil elegance.
Care Guide
Scilla are very effective for edging the front of a border with a pretty blue and white trim, and for planting in clusters in rockeries.
The bulbs are easy to naturalise in humus-rich, moist soil and can be left undisturbed for years.
Plant Scilla bulbs 5-10cm deep in well-drained, rich soil, spaced 7-15cm apart. Ensure the pointed end faces upward.
Dainty stems topped with delicate, star-shaped flowers appear during March and April, putting on an enchanting spring display.
