Cyclamen Pseudibericum
M5266
Description
With jewel-like, carmine pink flowers, Cyclamen ‘Pseudibericum’ adds glamorous colour to shady, sheltered areas in early spring. Each elongated petal is swept backwards and marked with a magenta ‘ace of spades’ shaped speck.
The radiant blooms are shown to advantage by lustrous, heart-shaped foliage highlighted by silver marbling. This choice variety has been granted a prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. Thriving in moist, woodland settings, Cyclamen ‘Pseudibiricum’ is ideal for planting in drifts beneath trees for a naturalistic effect.
Fill a few containers next to your front door to capitalise on the sweet scent of the flowers when you arrive home.
Care Guide
Plant your Cyclamen in a shaded location, in well-drained, rich soil.
Prefers shallow planting, 5 cm deep, spaced 15 cm apart in the soil. Provide moderate watering, keeping the soil consistently moist. Avoid waterlogging.
Delicate stems of dainty, upswept blooms rise to heights of 10-15 cm from a bed of heart-shaped attractive foliage. Flowering period depends on particular variety.
After planting, leave undisturbed to settle and naturalise. Blooms may not appear until the second season.
