Description

Split Corona Narcissi ‘Edinburgh’ produces broad ivory-white petals surrounding a richly pleated coral-salmon centre, creating a dramatic and beautifully sculptural spring display. The striking split corona of narcissus ‘Edinburgh’ brings bold texture and unusual contrast to borders, containers, and feature planting schemes, offering a distinctive twist on the traditional daffodil form.

Elegant yet eye-catching, this refined variety performs especially well where floral detail and layered colouring can be appreciated up close.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.

A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.

Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.

Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.

Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
