Scilla Siberica
M5830
Description
Scilla Siberica bewitches with light blue, bell-shaped flowers which quickly naturalise, forming a delicate carpet of colour in both sun and shade. Early spring bloomers add a touch of ethereal beauty to gardens, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere.
Ideal for woodland gardens and shaded borders, their graceful, nodding blooms bring a sense of wild elegance. The soft blue hues of Scilla Siberica transform landscapes, offering a peaceful and a delightful visual feast.
Care Guide
Scilla are very effective for edging the front of a border with a pretty blue and white trim, and for planting in clusters in rockeries.
The bulbs are easy to naturalise in humus-rich, moist soil and can be left undisturbed for years.
Plant Scilla bulbs 5-10cm deep in well-drained, rich soil, spaced 7-15cm apart. Ensure the pointed end faces upward.
Dainty stems topped with delicate, star-shaped flowers appear during March and April, putting on an enchanting spring display.
