Description

Lily-Flowering Tulip ‘Vendeeglobe’ produces bright yellow petals dramatically feathered with orange-red, creating a bold and energetic spring display full of movement and colour. The elegant lily-shaped blooms of tulip ‘Vendeeglobe’ bring a graceful silhouette to borders and containers, while the vivid feathered markings add extra drama and visual impact.

Flowering in late spring on slender stems, this striking variety combines refined form with vibrant colouring, a perfect choice for adding bold colour and flair to any garden.

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
