Mid Season Tulip Abu Hassan
T1361
Description
Mid-Season Tulip ‘Abu Hassan’ produces richly coloured mahogany-red blooms highlighted with fine chrysanthemum-like stripes and a narrow buttercup-yellow edge. The dramatic colouring of tulip ‘Abu Hassan’ creates a warm, glowing effect in spring borders and containers, bringing depth and intensity to seasonal planting schemes.
Held on sturdy stems, this striking variety performs reliably through mid-spring and pairs beautifully with deep purples, golds, and softer apricot tones for bold and sophisticated garden combinations.
Care Guide
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.

Foxy Foxtrot
T1259
Named after a popular 1970s Dutch song about a beguiling dancer, you will be captivated by the mesmerising blooms of Early Double ‘Foxy Foxtrot’ as they waltz their way through spring. Featuring all the charm of its sister variety tulip ‘Foxtrot’, this sport brings a little more pizazz as its takes to the dancefloor of your garden.
Countless layers of petals reveal a breath-taking combination of colours, from pale lemon and honey-gold to apricot and tangerine. The sturdy, weatherproof stems hold up well in exposed positions, and the neat, compact habit is especially favourable for window boxes and container displays.

Belicia
T1922
Early Double Tulip ‘Belicia’ produces stems of multiple fancy blooms which will billow in the spring breeze like the plumes of a cavalier hat. The stunning feather-like petals of tulip 'Belicia' emerge in a soft shade of primrose yellow, edged in carmine, and fade to raspberry-rippled ivory.
The show-stopping bouquet-flowering Tulips are an arresting sight when planted to bloom in wide swathes in the border. Plant taller tulips such as the rich and plummy ‘Black Hero’ and elegant ‘Queen of Night’ behind for complimentary colour and texture.
