Description

Allium Carinatum subsp. Pulchellum, also known as Keeled Garlic, is a graceful clump-forming perennial producing loose clusters of violet-pink star-shaped flowers on slender, arching stems through July and August. The delicate blooms of Allium carinatum subsp. pulchellum bring movement and light texture to sunny borders, gravel gardens, and naturalistic planting schemes, where they mix beautifully among grasses and late-summer perennials.

Thriving in a sunny position with moist but well-drained soil, this elegant allium is easy to grow and highly attractive to pollinators. Its excellent garden performance has earned it the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
