Large Cupped Narcissi Cool Flame
N0203
Description
The silken ivory perianth contrasts beautifully with the rich coral cup of Narcissus ‘Cool Flame’, bringing a dreamy edge to spring borders and containers when it blooms in April. This romantic looking Daffodil pairs well with pink and apricot shades, both in the garden and in the vase. Strong, sturdy, yet tall stems make this hybrid Narcissus a must for the cutting garden.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
