Lily-flowering Tulip 'Holland Chic' present a graceful elegance with white flowers adorned with pinky-red feathered edges. As the flowers mature, feathering becomes more pronounced, adding to their intricate beauty.
Slender, lily-like form enhances delicate appearance, creating a refined and sophisticated garden display. 'Holland Chic' tulips bring a touch of classic charm and timeless grace, fluted edges adding a unique and artistic flair.
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
