Mid Season Tulip Color Charm
T1426
Description
Mid-Season Tulip ‘Color Charm’ is a remarkable colour-changing variety that transforms throughout its flowering period, beginning in glowing golden yellow before deepening through red tones and finally maturing into a rich wine-purple. The ever-evolving blooms of tulip ‘Color Charm’ create a dramatic and theatrical spring display, with each stage bringing fresh depth and contrast to borders and containers.
Planted in generous groups, this striking tulip delivers a constantly shifting tapestry of colour through the season, making every display feel dynamic and alive. Bold, unusual, and endlessly captivating, it offers far more than a single moment of beauty.
Care Guide
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
