Description
Allium ‘Cameleon’ produces delicate flowerheads that gently fade from white to blush-pink, creating a soft watercolour effect through the late spring and early summer garden. Held on slender stems, the airy spherical blooms of allium ‘Cameleon’ bring movement, texture, and subtle colour to gravel gardens, modern borders, and naturalistic planting schemes.

Care Guide
Plant in rich, well-drained soil. Larger bulbs should be planted 10 cm deep and the smaller ones 5 cm deep; they may be left undisturbed for many years.

Egg-shaped blooms bob in the summer breeze on eye-catching Allium ‘Sphaerocephalon’.
The compact ‘drumstick’ flowerheads rise up from the soil in late spring, enlarging in size until stems reach a final height of around 60cm tall. A fascinating transformation of colour takes place as the blooms mature, changing from bluish green to two-toned purple-crimson and green in a striking ombre effect. By the end of the flowering season in late summer, the maroon flowers have loosened up and are humming with bees.
