Small Cupped Narcissi Polar Ice
N0225
Description
Looking effortlessly elegant and smart in the garden, Small Cupped Narcissi ‘Polar Ice’ is a charming daffodil which is exceptionally easy to weave into any spring planting design.
With crisp-white petals and a petite primrose-yellow cup, this sophisticated and sweetly scented narcissi will add a magical touch to a green and white spring garden when its star-like flowers bloom in April.
Small Cupped Narcissus ‘Polar Ice’ blends beautifully with pastel shades, both in the garden and in the vase. Try planting and arranging next to Hyacinths, Muscari, Hellebores, and fancy Tulips for a tasteful spring display.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
