Description

Crown Tulip ‘White Liberstar’ produces elegant white flowers with softly twisted, pointed petals that form a beautifully refined and sculptural shape. The distinctive blooms of tulip ‘White Liberstar’ rise on strong upright stems, bringing movement, texture, and sophistication to spring borders, containers, and contemporary planting schemes.

Its crisp colouring and unusual flower form make this striking variety especially effective in monochrome displays or paired with deeper tulip shades for contrast.

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
