Mid Season Tulip Cairo
T1359
Description
Mid-Season Tulip ‘Cairo’ produces warm coppery-orange flowers infused with soft bronzed tones, creating a rich and glowing display through the spring garden. The elegant blooms of tulip ‘Cairo’ bring warmth and depth to borders, containers, and mixed planting schemes, where their unusual colouring pairs beautifully with deep purples, creams, and darker foliage.
Flowering reliably in mid-spring on sturdy stems, this distinctive variety adds a luxurious and sophisticated touch to garden displays.
Care Guide
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.

Lily Flowering Mixture
T1875
Flowering throughout May, this superior collection of tulip bulbs contains an exquisite mix of colourful blooms for the garden. The elongated, typically goblet-shaped flowerheads of majestic, lily-flowering tulips add a luxurious look, outstretching to star-like forms when fully open.
Plant the bulbs en masse to create striking swathes and blocks of colour and fill your spring pots for eye-catching displays. All well-known, and several award-winning varieties within this mix make excellent cut flowers, lasting for several days in the vase and many weeks in the garden.

Collection 2
T2002
Like the most luxurious and brightly-coloured silk gowns, this stunning collection of tulips has been created to impress and will gently swing and sway in the spring garden, flaunting their beauty.
Featuring sweetly-scented, tangerine-orange flowers, lily-flowered tulip ‘Ballerina’ blooms with elegance and grace, its pointed petals outwardly curving at their tips as it opens.
To flower at the same time in late spring and to compliment this fiery princess, is May-flowering tulip ‘Ronaldo’ – a purple hued tulip which blooms in the classic goblet-shape we most associate with tulips.
Both varieties have wonderfully long stems and are excellent for cutting and adding to colourful spring floral designs. Bright, acid-green foliage sets the colours off perfectly.
Each collection contains 10 of each variety, each individually bagged and labelled.
