This Paeony Flowering Tulip collections combines ‘Yellow Pomponette’, ‘Angelique’, and ‘Sun Lover’ tulips for a richly textured late-spring display full of warmth and romantic colour. Blending soft pinks, glowing yellows, and rich apricot-orange tones, the full double blooms create a luxurious peony-like effect in borders, patio pots, and seasonal bedding schemes.
Flowering through late spring on sturdy stems, this beautifully balanced mixture offers long-lasting colour, layered texture, and a vibrant combination of complementary shades ideal for bold yet elegant garden displays.
Each collection contains 10 of each variety, each individually bagged and labelled.
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
