A lively assortment of multicoloured brights, our Ranunculus ‘Rainbow Mixture’ will bring a dash of joyful exuberance to your display. Like a chest of radiant jewels, this collection is filled with blooms of ruby red, golden yellow, amber orange and pearl white, turning your garden into a dazzling treasure trove.

Plump buds unfurl to reveal curls of plentiful petals, expanding into large, multi-layered, peony-like blooms. Each claw-like corm can produce up to six flowers held on strong stems. Benefitting from an outstanding vase-life, this Ranunculus ‘Rainbow Mixture’ provides you with a specially selected vibrant colour combination for glorious bouquets and floral arrangements.

Care Guide

Best planted under glass or in a polytunnel in autumn, for overwintering and blooming the following spring.  Can also be started off outdoors in spring.

Soak the spider-like tubers in water for several hours prior to planting.

Plant tubers 7-10cm deep, spaced 15cm apart into well-drained, fertile soil. 

For container grown plants, a mix of good quality multi-purpose compost and grit is ideal.

Provide consistent watering, ensuring soil remains moderately damp at all times.  Ranunculus are susceptible to mildew if they are allowed to dry out, or rot if they are kept too wet.

Grow in a position in full sun and feed with high-potash fertiliser weekly when buds start to appear.  Pick regularly as wonderful cut flowers.
