Cyclamen Pseudibericum
M5266
Description
With jewel-like, carmine pink flowers, Cyclamen ‘Pseudibericum’ adds glamorous colour to shady, sheltered areas in early spring. Each elongated petal is swept backwards and marked with a magenta ‘ace of spades’ shaped speck.
The radiant blooms are shown to advantage by lustrous, heart-shaped foliage highlighted by silver marbling. This choice variety has been granted a prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. Thriving in moist, woodland settings, Cyclamen ‘Pseudibiricum’ is ideal for planting in drifts beneath trees for a naturalistic effect.
Fill a few containers next to your front door to capitalise on the sweet scent of the flowers when you arrive home.
Care Guide
Plant your Cyclamen in a shaded location, in well-drained, rich soil.
Prefers shallow planting, 5 cm deep, spaced 15 cm apart in the soil. Provide moderate watering, keeping the soil consistently moist. Avoid waterlogging.
Delicate stems of dainty, upswept blooms rise to heights of 10-15 cm from a bed of heart-shaped attractive foliage. Flowering period depends on particular variety.
After planting, leave undisturbed to settle and naturalise. Blooms may not appear until the second season.

Charlotte Bishop
M5554
An abundance of lavender-pink, star-shaped blooms come into their own in May and June on Ipheion ‘Charlotte Bishop’ adding fragrance and colour to the early summer garden.
Delicate petals fade towards the flower centre and carry a darker central stripe, leading to a pollen-rich heart which is loved by bees and summer pollinators.
Native to Argentina and known as the Spring Starflower, Ipheion ‘Charlotte Bishop’ are fully hardy, and the bulbs will naturalise in moderately fertile, well-drained soil.
Excellent for rockeries, sunny garden borders and containers for a splash of pretty colour and airy movement. Forms a bed of strap-like, glaucous foliage.

Uniflorum Wisley Blue
M5553
Large, open-faced flowers of lilac-blue are produced in abundance on Ipheion ‘Uniflorum Wisley Blue.’ The petals are marked with a central violet-blue vein leading towards a flower centre which is rich in pollen and nectar.
Known as the Spring Starflower, this delicate gem is perfect for studding the front of a border with colour and introducing a soft, whimsical look. Useful for adding interest in May and June when sometimes gaps between spring and summer plants can be evident.
Dancing stems reach just 15cm tall, so plant Ipheion where the pretty, scented flowers will be seen and appreciated. Suits rockeries and container planting for a cloud-like drift of gentle colour.
