Dwarf Cyclamineus Surfside
N0408
Description
Dwarf Cyclamineus Daffodil ‘Surfside’ produces elegant creamy-white reflexed petals surrounding a soft pale yellow trumpet that gradually fades to cream as the flowers mature. The gently swept-back blooms of narcissus ‘Surfside’ bring a fresh and graceful look to spring containers, rockeries, and smaller garden borders.
Compact and reliable, this refined variety flowers early in the season and pairs beautifully with muscari, species tulips, and other delicate spring bulbs. Its soft colouring and neat habit create a calm and sophisticated spring display.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
