Eremurus Macarena
M5327
Description
A delightful, new variety of Foxtail Lily, Eremurus ‘Macarena’ produces exquisite spires of apricot-pink flowers throughout June and July.
The majestic flower spikes reach up to 1.3m tall – perfect for planting near the back or centre of a large, mixed perennial border where the stately spires will rise proudly above border companions, bringing drama and architecture to the garden as well as colour and wonderful texture. The stems make stunning cut flowers for large floral displays.
Drought-tolerant Eremurus thrive in light, well-drained soils and love a sun-baked spot, they are therefore ideal in prairie planting schemes. Plant with ornamental grasses, daisy-like Echinacea and the flattened plates of Achillea for a long-lasting, pollinator-friendly summer display.
