Description

Narcissus ‘Tresamble’ is generally considered to be one of the best, most reliable triandrus hybrids. The exquisite, pearly petals are gently reflexed, sweeping back to reveal a ruffled central trumpet the colour of Madagascan vanilla ice-cream. With up to 5 flowers per stem, these prolific bloomers remain upright even in inclement weather thanks to their strong stalks and compact habit. The subtle, soft bicolour blooms are a gorgeous addition to any spring display – dot amongst borders and lawns and fill pots on the patio or porch for swathes of understated charm.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
