Large Cupped Narcissi Pacific Rim
N0242
Description
Large Cupped Narcissus ‘Pacific Rim’ produces bright yellow petals surrounding a neatly shaped cup edged in vivid flame-orange red, creating a lively and eye-catching spring display. The cheerful blooms of large cupped daffodil ‘Pacific Rim’ appear almost illuminated from within, bringing warmth, colour, and crisp definition to March borders and seasonal planting schemes.
Reliable and beautifully tidy in habit, this striking variety is ideal for brightening beds, containers, and naturalised drifts, while pairing especially well with early tulips and other classic spring bulbs.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
