Large Cupped Narcissi Gentle Giant
N0178
Description
Bold but beautifully balanced - white outer petals stretch wide, brushed with yellow at their base.
The central cup erupts in ruffled orange, glowing like a sunrise. Each Narcissi 'Gentle Giant' bloom stands proud, ideal for generous swathes along paths or large spring displays. Size with subtlety.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
