Description

The mesmerising, multi-tonal flowers of Jonquilla Narcissus ‘Cosmopolitan’ have an almost hypnotic quality. Every bloom is a work of art, with pearlescent, pale green petals accentuating a captivating, ombré, tri-coloured crown. Each unique trumpet progresses from a lime green centre, graduating through a chartreuse cylinder into a salmon pink, frilled rim.

The subtle, pastel hues have a soothing, sophisticated air, enhanced further by the extraordinary perfume which the blooms impart. With up to 4 flowers per stem, this distinctive Jonquilla provides a striking display whether planted in containers or amongst borders and lawns.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.

A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.

Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.

Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.

Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
