Dutch Iris White van Vliet

(inc. 20.0% VAT)

Dutch Iris White van Vliet is a superb variety, featuring pure white standards with a subtle violet gloss and ivory-white falls adorned with a golden-yellow blotch. This exquisite bloom radiates a sense of elegance and purity, perfect for creating sophisticated garden displays. Its refined beauty and delicate hues make it an ideal choice for formal gardens or elegant floral arrangements. White van Vliet captivates with serene and timeless grace.

Care Guide

Cultivate Dutch Iris in a sunny area of the garden with free-draining soil.

Plant the teardrop bulbs in autumn with their pointy tips facing up, 10-15cm deep and 15cm apart in the soil.  For best effect, grow in large groups.

Silky flowers in vibrant hues bloom during June and July on stems 50-95cm tall.  Excellent for cutting. Leave some foliage behind to die back naturally and feed the bulb for next year’s flowers.

Bulbs will naturalise easily when left undisturbed in a warm, dry location.
