Description
Eremurus Moneymaker stands tall with its impressive spikes of bright yellow flowers. This spectacular plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, creating a striking vertical accent in the garden. The vibrant, sunlit blooms tower majestically, adding height and drama to flower beds and borders. The radiant display of Eremurus Moneymaker brings a bold and cheerful energy to your garden, making it a standout feature.
Care Guide
Grow aristocratic Eremurus in a sunny, well-drained site with light soil. Add a bed of sand to the planting hole if you garden on heavy soil.
Plant the tuberous, spider-like roots 8-10cm deep, spaced 30-60cm apart in the earth. Place in groups of 3 or 5 for impact.
Provide consistent watering, ensuring the soil remains moderately moist particularly during dry spells of weather and whilst the roots settle in.
Majestic, fuzzy spires of yellow, orange or pink will rise to impressive heights of 90-200cm in midsummer when the flowers bloom.
During winter, mulch the area around Foxtail lilies with leaf mould to enrich the soil and add protection against harsh weather.
