Large Trumpet Daffodil Pink Silk
N0112
Description
An enchanting and romantic Narcissi to grow for cutting, or to add charm to spring containers and planting designs - Daffodil ‘Pink Silk’ is an exquisite beauty with her collar of pure white petals and narrow, soft coral trumpet.
Despite its fine and graceful looks, large trumpet daffodil Pink Silk is pest and weather resistant, thriving and naturalising in a sunny or partly shaded spot.
Combines well in the garden or vase with pale spring blues or rich, velvety aubergine shades.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
