Description

Tulip ‘Taiwan’ produces bright pink blooms on a short, sturdy frame, making it perfect for pots, patios, and tightly packed spring borders. Flowering late in the season when colour is most welcome, the full peony-like flowers of Paeony Flowering Tulip ‘Taiwan’ bring warmth, charm, and cheerful energy to smaller garden spaces.

Compact does not mean ordinary — these vibrant blooms radiate joy with every open face. Easy to grow and wonderfully eye-catching, this lively variety is difficult to overlook in any spring display.

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
