The Sensation Collection
CAM27
Description
Each spring, some daffodils always stop me in my tracks. This year, there were three: Moonlight Sensation, Sunlight Sensation, and Starlight Sensation. Their fragrance, form and sheer glow were unlike anything I’d seen in my own flower beds.
So, de Jager put together a special collection—The Sensation Collection—featuring five premium bulbs of each variety. Fifteen bulbs in total, each variety separately bagged and labelled. No guesswork. Just plant in early autumn and let nature do the rest.
Advance Order Offer: Sensation Collection usually £23.50 with postage, these 15 bulbs are yours for £14.10 with free delivery, a 40% saving
No hidden costs. Just the best bulbs, packed with care, sent in time for perfect planting.
You receive fifteen bulbs of these remarkable narcissi.
Five Moonlight Sensation
Bringing elegance in every stem. Those beauties bear up to four stems, each sporting six star-shaped blossoms. An exquisite fragrance emits from pale yellow blooms which are the colour of a full moon on a a clear spring evening. Moonlight Sensation earned gold at the Midlands Spring Flower Show last April.
Five Sunlight Sensation
Offering vibrant lemon-yellow blooms, richly scented and ideal for late April displays in UK gardens. Each bulb produces three to five stems with two to three flower-heads.
Five Starlight Sensation
Producing multi-stemmed, highly fragrant creamy-white flowers. A 2017 award winner at Philadelphia Flower Show, this variety includes up to twenty blooms per bulb, perfect for patios or borders.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
