Double Daffodil Acropolis
N0271
Description
Layered ivory petals surround flecks of scarlet at the core, like fireflies caught in snow. The fullness is lush, yet never messy - each bloom a miniature bouquet. Double Daffodil 'Acropolis' is a stunning specimen for cutting or close-up planting.
Fragrance and form combine in this sophisticated April performer.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
