Description

Multiflowering Tulip ‘Georgette’ produces bright yellow flowers softly feathered with warm red markings, creating a cheerful and vibrant late spring display. The beautifully blended colouring of tulip ‘Georgette’ brings warmth and movement to borders, containers, and seasonal planting schemes, where the multiple blooms per stem create an especially full and lively effect.

Flowering reliably through late spring, this eye-catching variety adds long-lasting colour and a bright uplifting character to the garden.

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
