Nectaroscordum Siculum ssp. Bulgaricum
M5763
Description
Care Guide
Commonly known as Sicilian honey garlic, Nectaroscordum are closely related to Alliums and share many of the same qualities.
Perfect for naturalising in wild, nature-friendly gardens and grassy areas, these unique plants thrive in both sunny and shaded sites.
Plant the bulbs 10cm deep and 20-30 cm apart into any well-drained soil, ensuring the pointed ends face upward. Nectaroscordum can also be grown in containers with drainage holes – place the bulbs more closely together for a bountiful pot display.
Sturdy stems rise to heights of 85 cm in May and June, bearing umbels of dangling, bell-shaped blooms.
