Forty-eight large-flowering Dutch Crocus give you the freedom to be generous with spring colour from the outset. I’ve divided the collection equally between six named varieties - ‘Flower Record’, ‘Golden Yellow’, ‘Jeanne d’Arc’, ‘Pickwick’, ‘Vanguard’ and ‘Remembrance’ - taking you from white and gold through mauve, striped violet and deeper purples. Not simply more colour. Colour you can compose.

8 bulbs of Flower Record  - Large goblets of opulent deep purple flowers bring a splash of welcome colour early in the season with Crocus ‘Flower Record’. This beautiful variety will naturalise easily in the garden, whether in an open grassy area, beneath a mature tree or in the border.  Excellent for wildlife gardens and attracting spring pollinators such as bumblebees and hoverflies when they bloom during February and March.

8 bulbs of Golden Yellow - The gilded goblets of Crocus ‘Golden Yellow’ are perfect for introducing a splash of warm sunshine early on in the year. The petite, cup-shaped flowers open fully in warm sunshine during February and March, showing off their glorious golden stamens and close up as the sun goes down to protect their bounty.

8 bulbs of Jeanne d’Arc - One of the finest white large-flowering Dutch Crocus, producing broad, goblet-shaped blooms of clear, crisp white around vivid orange stamens. The simplicity of the colour makes it especially useful alongside stronger yellows, blues and purples, where the white gives the whole planting room to breathe. Named after Joan of Arc, it has been a favourite garden crocus for generations.

8 bulbs of  Pickwick  - Blooming from February and into March, Crocus ‘Pickwick’ is a wonderful way of announcing spring is in the air with its colourful, carnival stripes.

The striking bowls of soft, silvery lavender, striped with rich violet, open up on warm days, welcoming pollinators in, drawn towards their golden stamens. This is an exceptional crocus.

 8 bulbs of Vanguard - An elegant and award-winning Crocus, Vanguard’ is an early flowering and vigorous variety which will naturalise with ease in the correct spot. This Giant Dutch Crocus bears gorgeous goblets of muted mauve and silver which will glow like precious jewels in the spring garden. It is little wonder that Crocus ‘Vanguard’ has been granted a prestigious Award of Garden Merit by The Royal Horticultural Society for excellent garden performance, reliability and of course, handsome looks.

8 bulbs of Remembrance - Crocus ‘Remembrance’ produces an abundance of amethyst-violet flowers, which bloom during February and March, for a long-lasting and colourful display in the home.

A silvery gloss makes the exquisite flowers of the large-flowering crocus Remembrance gleam as they open wide in the spring sunshine, exposing bright orange stamens.

You can repeat a shade, set one against another or let a favourite stand on its own. There is enough of each variety to put on a glorious display, and these are substantial bulbs. Five of the six varieties are supplied as top-sized 9/10 cm., with ‘Golden Yellow’ at 8/9 cm.
