Description

Give your tulip season a brilliant white finish

Just as the earlier tulips begin to fade, 'White Proud' comes into its own, bringing a striking display of pure-white flowers to your late-spring garden.

Reaching up to 70cm, the tall stems carry elegant, goblet-shaped blooms which open wide in the sunshine. Against the fresh greens and richer colours of late spring, their crisp white petals make a wonderful contrast.

Flowering through May, this classic variety pairs beautifully with both pastel and vibrant tulips, adding light, balance, and a clean architectural presence to the spring garden.

We're offering 15 top-size 12/+cm bulbs, the premium grade with the potential to produce larger flowers and stronger stems than smaller bulbs.

Normally £33.25 including postage, you can have all 15 bulbs for just £13.30 delivered. This is 60% off, saving you £19.95!

ORDER YOUR 15 'WHITE PROUD' TULIPS for £13.30 DELIVERED

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
