Narcissi Miscellaneous Toto
N0674
Description
The luminous, delicate, pearly blooms of Narcissus ‘Toto’ glow with an iridescent quality. Opalescent, slightly reflexed petals encircle a slender trumpet which emerges as a pale yellow and fades to warm white, gradually blending with the surrounding perianth. The demure, dainty blooms have a refined air whilst still providing a lavish display, carrying up to 3 heads on each sturdy stem. ‘Toto’ has been granted the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit in recognition of its outstanding resilience and versatility. The starry blooms bring sparkle to rockeries, container displays, borders, shrubberies, and lawns where they will gladly naturalise.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
