Flower Border Mixture
N0772
Description
Our radiant de Jager ‘Flower Border Mixture’ includes several superior and much-loved varieties of single and large-cupped Narcissi in a range of spring tones.
Flowering over a lengthy period, these Daffodil bulbs can be planted and left to naturalise where they will reappear every spring for years to come. Weave into herbaceous borders for a wave of colour at varying heights, or plant in large groups or swathes in open grassland for an impactful display.
Care Guide
Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.
A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.
Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.
Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.
Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
