Description

The Fosteriana Madame Lefeber dazzles with brilliant fiery red blooms. Each flower is a bold statement of colour, exuding intense vibrancy which captivates and energizes. These tulips, with commanding presence and striking hue, are perfect for creating dramatic garden displays. Fiery red petals, set against green foliage, ignite passion and fervour, making these an irresistible choice for those looking to infuse gardens with bold colour.

Care Guide

November is the optimum month for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring. Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep, spaced 10-20cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area. After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
