Pairing the fresh, lemon sorbet yellow of Darwin Tulip ‘World Friendship’ and the bright pop of Darwin Tulip ‘Pink Impression’, the Easter-egg tones of this ‘Two Tone Tulip Mixture’ are the perfect celebration of spring. Chosen carefully for their identical flowering time, height and flower shape, this tulip combination will add lively cheer to your borders and containers.

The goblet-shaped, super-sized flower heads are held on strong stems which will not waver, even in inclement weather. This tulip collection provides you with a ready-made blend of cut flowers to fill vases around your home and create gorgeous bouquets to give to family and friends.

 

Care Guide

October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.

Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade.  Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.

After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
