Anemone Ranunculoides
M5106
Description
Best grown under the shade of mature trees and invaluable in woodland borders, Anemone ‘Ranunculoides’ is a cheerful, buttercup-yellow wood anemone, sometimes known as wood ginger.
Beautifully cut, ferny foliage is verdant green with delicate purple shading, enhancing the sunny flowers which rise and bloom during March and April each year.
Wonderful for naturalising as striking groundcover, Anemone ‘Ranunculoides’ thrives and spreads easily in damp, well-drained soil which is rich in leafmould.
For over 30 years, this dazzling cultivar has held the accolade of an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Also grows well near ponds, streams and rockeries given the right soil conditions.
