Stout, purplish stems are loaded with the pretty star-shaped blooms, each featuring a gleaming white eye in the centre.

Chionodoxa are brilliant for naturalising in rich, well-drained soil and will grow happily in sun and shade. Perfect for borders, alpine gardens and containers, forming soft cushions of eye-catching colour.
