Mid Season Tulip Mango Charm

(inc. 20.0% VAT)

Like a fresh fruit salad, ‘Mango Charm’ is bursting with sunshine and sweetness. Charming by name and charming by nature, this mid-season variety is an enchanting blend of delicate, muted shades, perfect for spring. Changing colour gradually throughout the season, the buds emerge as pale yellow before unfurling to petals of peachy pink delicately edged with soft apricot. A gorgeous addition to borders, containers and floral arrangements, these delightful Triumph tulips offer a calming, soft pastel palette for your garden and for your home.

Care Guide

November is the optimum month for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring. Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep, spaced 10-20cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area. After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.
