Scilla Siberica Mixed
M5829
Description
Scilla Siberica Mixed offers a balanced blend of vibrant Spring Beauty and pristine Alba varieties. This mixture creates a stunning tapestry of bright blue and pure white blooms, adding dynamic contrast to gardens. Perfect for naturalising, they spread rapidly, forming a lush carpet of colour.
Ideal for borders, rockeries, and shaded areas, the mix ensures an ever-changing visual delight. The harmonious blend of hues brings a lively and enchanting quality to spring gardens.
Care Guide
Scilla are very effective for edging the front of a border with a pretty blue and white trim, and for planting in clusters in rockeries.
The bulbs are easy to naturalise in humus-rich, moist soil and can be left undisturbed for years.
Plant Scilla bulbs 5-10cm deep in well-drained, rich soil, spaced 7-15cm apart. Ensure the pointed end faces upward.
Dainty stems topped with delicate, star-shaped flowers appear during March and April, putting on an enchanting spring display.
